The red obsession

          One of my favourite colours is definitely red, I usually analyze which colours go with the different types of colour skin, and red almost never fails despite of being a vibrant colour, so girls don't be afraid of wearing red because it suits almost every skin tone very well! I love the juxtaposition of the red with the black and white it makes it classical and more powerful. The back zipper with the cut outs makes the dress more sexier, I prefer not revealing too much with my dresses and in general because I think you don't have to show a lot of skin to be sexy, you just have to insinuate, and of course feel comfortable with yourself.

         Uno de mis colores preferidos es definitivamente el rojo, usualmente analizo que colores van con los distintos tipos de piel, y el rojo es un color que a pesar de ser tan potente y vibrante casi nunca falla, así que chicas no tengan miedo a los colores fuertes como el rojo porque va con casi todos los tonos de piel! Me encanta la yuxtaposición de el color rojo con la pared blanca y negra,  hace que las fotos resalten de una manera mas clásica y con mas fuerza. El cierre de atrás y los cortes hacen que el look sea más sexy, yo prefiero no revelar mucho con los vestidos y en general creo que uno tiene que insinuar y no mostrar mucho porque eso no es lo que nos hace sexy, y el secreto para serlo es que una tiene que sentirse cómoda con una misma, les aseguro que es la mejor manera!

Rainbow

Within this past days the weather has been so unpredictable here in Montevideo! I am dying to rush to sunny New York right now! These photos were taken just when the rain stopped, in a very colourful neighborhood called Reus. I wanted to show you guys a colourful outfit that stands out with a bright wall. To wear this type of jackets you need to have neutral outfits to combine them.

El tiempo estos días estuvo muy impredecible acá en Montevideo, me muero por estar New York y disfrutar de los días soleados! Estas fotos fueron tomadas justo cuando la lluvia paro, las mismas fueron hechas en un barrio muy colorido llamado Reus. Queria mostrarles como un colorido atuendo puede destacarse con una paredes de colores que van a tono. Para usar este tipo de sacos hay que tener prendas neutras para poder combinarlas.

Street Art

Yesterday I was hanging out in the neighborhood Parque Rodo, it's a very bohemian and cool part of Montevideo that has lots of houses and bars like the one that I decided to took photos. The bar is called El Living and every year the art of their walls change, this year they have a very cool street art style. Because it was a Sunday I prefered a more relaxed look, this is one of my favourite outfits I wear it all the time. I love the star detail on the jacket, for me the little details lke this one make the whole outfit look more complete. The Prada bag my mum bought it for me in Milan last week and I am in love, couldn't ask for a better mum :). Black is a must in my closet, I usually try to have at least one piece in black, it incorporates elegance to the outfits, and in scenarios like this one the contrast that creates is beautifull.

Ayer estaba paseando por el Parque Rodo un barrio que es muy bohemio y cool de Montevideo, tiene muchas casas y bares como en el que me decidí sacar fotos. El bar se llama El Living y cada año renueva las pinturas de sus paredes, este año me pareció muy canchero tiene una onda de arte callejero. Como era Domingo decidí usar un look más relajado, este es uno de mis atuendos preferidos, el cual uso todo el tiempo. Me encantan los detalles en la ropa como la estrella que tengo en la chaqueta, creo que son detalles como estos que hacen que todo el look quede mas cool. La cartera Prada mi mama la compro para mi en Milan la semana pasada, no podría pedir una mejor mama :). El color negro es vital en mi armario ya que siempre incorpora de alguna manera elegancia a los conjuntos, y en escenarios como este crea un contraste espectacular.

Black velvet

Montevideo, is the city where I lived for almost 20 years now and I am getting a little melancholic about leaving it already! But I know that it is for a positive change and to pursue my dream so I am really excited and anxious about moving to New York! Today's look is done in the old town of my hometown and the look is inspired in the everyday life of a young woman when you have to go to a meeting or simply having lunch with friends. The secret to make a typicall black look more interesting is to wear a jacket like this one that has a nice pattern and colours, it's amazing how this jacket makes the whole look pop up. I am wearing velvet and leather because I´m obsessed with the combination of the leather leggins with the velvet jacket. Hope you guys like it!

Montevideo es la ciudad en la cual vivi por casi 20 años ya y para ser sincera me estoy poniendo un poco melancólica de mudarme! De todas maneras se que es por un cambio positivo, seguir mi sueño así que estoy muy emocionada también y ansiosa por mudarme a Nueva York! El look de hoy es en la ciudad vieja de mi ciudad y esta inspirado en el día a día de la mujer para ir desde a una reunión o simplemente a almorzar con amigas. El secreto para hacer un típico atuendo negro más interesante es usando una chaqueta negra como esta para que el look quede mas interesante, por los colores y los patrones. Estoy usando cuero y terciopelo estoy obsesionada con la combinación de las calzas de cuero con las chaquetas de terciopelo. Espero que les haya gustado!

Circus

   I love maxi dresses, especially the ones like the one I am wearing that has lots of colours, when a day is gray in summer I wear this dress and my mood instantaneously becomes happier. Me encantan los vestidos largos, especialmente los vestidos como el que tengo puesto,  al ser tan colorido me ilumina y hace que un día gris de verano se convierta instantáneamente en un día mas alegre. La moda es una de las únicas maneras en las cuales las personas pueden usar arte en sus propios cuerpos, la ropa que usamos es literalmente arte en movimiento.      When I have to dress semi formal I choose dresses like this one. Black and white for me are essentials and they always look great, because they are classic colours. For this outift I decided to make a hair bun by pulling my hair up, it helps the look by doing it more formal.

Casual fur

           This outfit is really comfortable and cozy, this is another of my looks that I usually wear without thinking twice because of its very classical and ethereal appeal, so it's just perfect for work. Hats are vital in my closet! Hats incorporate some mystery to the outfits, and this one is not the exception.
